NEWS The Georgia EPD issued a new storm water General Permit effective AUGUST 1, 2006. It affects all existing permitted facilities. Your facility's Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3) must be updated to the address the requirements of the new permit and current site conditions within 90 days of the effective date of the new permit. CTI has prepared Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3) for facilities in many states. CTI prides itself on being able to offer the highest quality service at a minimal fee. The Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan prepared by CTI for a facility is comprehensive in scope, as it addresses all requirements that the facility is obligated to follow according to its NPDES Stormwater Permit, including recommended Best Management Practices (BMPs).
CTI's services extend beyond the initial preparation of the SWP as well. To decrease the burden on the facility, CTI can perform required quarterly and annual inspections and reports for a facility. In addition, many facilities are required to perform stormwater testing periodically. After determining the sampling requirements for a facility, CTI is able to assist the facility to collect samples. We then analyze the samples, submit the results to the facility and, when necessary, to the regulatory agencies. CTI also has developed stormwater training videos and training materials that will enable your facility to satisfy stormwater regulatory training requirements.
